Pathway of Hope Counseling Center

We are a counseling center that provides comprehensive counseling services to individuals, families, and couples in the community. We understand that as humans we experience difficulties, but the purpose of counseling is to provide support in times of struggle. I have worked with clients with a wide variety of issues from substance use, trauma, sexual abuse, depression, and mood disorders, to grief, family, and relational issues. Spirituality and faith are important components of our counseling center. We would like to provide support and assistance to clients that are in crisis recognizing the role of spirituality and faith in change and growth. I am trained in EMDR, a top intervention mainly used in trauma and other distressing issues, that allows processing distressing information store in our brain that causes different symptoms, from distressing emotions to strong emotional reactions. EMDR allows the client to process cognitions and promotes emotional regulation.
